It has been decided that this will be the summer of the hippie. Who has decided this you may ask...my inner 70's flower power hippie self! Ever since I saw my sister in a a black flowy poncho with leather shorts I knew what my summer closet would look like. Being that I live in Southern California spring is long gone and the summer heat is here. I bought two pairs of wedges that will be perrrfect for all the oufits I have planned. Oh, did you notice that I took pictures outside! What the what...change is possible! The lighting is better but the trash dripping stains from some dirty neighbors is awful. Hellooooo (Jersey Shore Angelina voice) who does that?!? Ok, so you guys know I'm all about a good deal right? I bought this poncho top at H&M for $10! STEAL! So am I the only one going for a theme this summer?

  1. I love this on you. I bought the same top about two weeks ago and cut it because I wanted to wear it as a slouchy top, worst mistake ever, I'm not sure what to do with it now.

  2. This outfit is lovely! I especially like the top, the bottom part is darling. Can't believe it was only $10, H&M is never that cheap here. You look lovely as always. xoxo

  3. Reminds me of this super cute kaftan at AlwaysForMe.com. Comes in papaya orange and turqoise too. http://www.alwaysforme.com/plus-size-kaftan-1109x.html

I can image both with some fantastic silver and turqouise jewelry and a beaded belt.

  6. I caught this same top on sale at H&M and have been wondering how it would look belted, so thanks or that! It's just right with those jeans and I love me a big bag like that, in that color. This is very chic and very 70's!
